Thirsk Hockey Club Match Reports...

A squad of 9 arrived in the sunshine to take part in the final set of games for this season. We were in with Wakefield, Hull and Halifax.

We seemed to start slowly and lost the first game against Wakefield 2-0. Second game against Halifax seemed to find the team more awake and had decided to organize themselves in positions that the coach accepted!

We won 3-0.

Last game against Hull was more even and despite going 1-0 down and being mainly in charge, was finished in the last 30 seconds 1-1.

Sorting out the points showed we had come second in our group so went into the semi-finals against Doncaster............
