Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers...

It was with sadness that members heard of the death of former Thirsk and Sowerby Harrier, Ernie Huck, after a lengthy illness.

Ernie was a member for many years, enjoying, and being successful, at races of all distances, up to and including marathons - he did London several times raising money for charity.

He became closely involved with the running of the club, both on the committee and as chairman for a few years...
