Holy Rood House Celebrates 30 years...

Holy Rood House, Centre of Health and Pastoral Care, has recently celebrated 30 years of being a Charity in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

This Community of hospitality has been offering therapeutic and educational space since 1993, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds as ‘The Place to turn to’ at a time of need, retreat, respite or for learning.

Celebrations have included a service of poems, stories, songs and prayers, lifting a glass to all who have enabled this Community and also cutting of a cake. ...
