Hugely successful and fun day out at Thirsk and Sowerby Festival...

Last Sunday, Thirsk and Sowerby Festival organizers pulled off another very well attended celebration of Thirsk and Sowerby life on the Flatts ground.

Despite ominous looking clouds at times, the day proved largely dry and sunny.

Amid a large number of stalls, inflatable activities, fairground attractions of all types, the organizers arranged dog show demonstrations, archery sessions, horse riding for children, the always popular birds of prey exhibition and shire horse display, a tractor and small animal exhibit from Monk Park Farm, and many food venues to sample for all ages coming along to enjoy. ...
