On another, fine, dry, evening, the Sessay Swift 6k was once again a huge success, and thanks to Duncan Fothergill and his team for getting the show on the road, and to local clubs for giving it such huge support!

328 runners completed the one lap, 6k, course starting in Sessay village and round the block past Hutton Sessay, through Little Hutton and back up the village to finish at the cricket field, a popular route with runners and locals alike.

The 11th running of the event sold out well before the night and in a very competitive field, was won by Tom O’Mahoney of Richmond and Zetland Harriers in a time of 19.33, with Abby Barker of Stockton Striders first lady, 37th finisher in 23.14...
