The NYSD cross country season continued with Race 3 at Summerhill, a true cross country course with ups and downs, through woods, over fields, across a stream and along cinder track.
The event was hosted By Hartlepool Burn Road Harriers and the weather turned settled, fine for running.
Eight members were involved in the Ladies' race, with Esther Harrison once again the quickest, 9th out of 115 in 28.25, Liv Mulligan not far behind, 11th in 29.06 and Trudy Morrice 20th in 30.50.
Rose Kruger took 32.27, Kerri-Lee Wooding 35.16, Kirsty Naylor 36.23, Margaret Wikeley, getting back in to the groove, 54.14, and Christine Burn 57.23. The ladies took 3rd place in the team competition.
Running with the ladies, among the older men Rob Burn took 32.25, continuing his target of winning his age-group. Geoff Bullock took 39.54 - also first in his age-group, Ken Evitt 42.50, Hugh Jenyns 49.51 and Alan Wikeley 56.25. Photo by Kerri Lee.
