Silver Swans Ballet Brings Joy to HC-One’s Hambleton Grange Care Home...

Residents at HC-One’s Hambleton Grange Care Home in Thirsk, enjoyed a memorable day of music, movement, and community spirit as the renowned Silver Swans Ballet group visited the home.

The visit was inspired by residents’ wish to experience a live ballet performance. When the York-based Silver Swans expanded into Thirsk, the Hambleton Grange team was quick to invite them to the Home.

Led by Laucinda Roberts, the Silver Swans, dancers aged 55 and above, delivered a captivating performance that delighted residents and colleagues alike.

Following the display, the dancers led a chair-based ballet session, guiding residents through traditional positions and encouraging rhythmic movement.

The inclusive session allowed everyone, regardless of mobility, to participate and enjoy the experience. Residents were full of praise for the event.
