Happy New Year start for Thirsk Falcons...

Just before Christmas Thirsk Falcons men’s team began a fight back to regain some momentum in the North Riding league, after having had a poor start for the new season from September.

They gained points and drew against top team South Park Rangers, 4:4, and then Thirsk beat them in January, at last.

The bad weather and altered fixtures in the New Year. Thirsk drew against Boro Rangers Reserves in an away match.

This last Saturday, Thirsk Falcons played Northallerton Town Reserves at Sowerby Gateway 3G illuminated pitch, and took the game in hand from the start.

They dominated the action, passing the ball meticulously around the pitch and hammered the goal constantly but, frustratingly, without a score..........
