Their swimmers continued in the way that they finished 2021 with dedication and determination. Making the most of regaining their full training sessions after returning to their pool attendance last year was above pre covid levels.

The membership has gone from strength to strength with swimmers ranging from 6 years of age upwards.

The year started with 12 swimmers gaining qualifying times over 66 events for the Yorkshire Championships in February.

There were strong performances all round with six swimmers reaching their finals. Archie Norton, Max Walker, Ben Dale-Wood, Oliver Mayger and Kiki Fletcher all pulling out outstanding performances.

With a number of top 10 finishes and some well-deserved medals – Archie Norton, 2 silvers and Ben Dale-Wood 3 bronze medals.
