Sunday saw the return of the North Riding Women’s Recreational League at home!

Three games were played throughout the day, the first game to York RI saw a 0-0 result with nothing getting past either keeper.

The second game to Carperby Rovers saw a 1-0 win with Emma Doman securing the win with a great finish after the ball dropped over her shoulder and she smashed it home.

The final match of the day to Leyburn Ladies saw Gemma Westwood putting the ball in the top corner after making space on the edge of the box.

The second half saw yet another goal by Emma! Emma won the ball back on the right wing and needed no invitation to put the ball into the bottom right corner.

A fantastic 2-0 win for the ladies.
