Thirsk Rugby Club - Container Project...

It’s taken quite a while but eventually a collaboration involving Thirsk Rugby Club, Thirsk School and Thirsk Decorating Centre is now complete.

Some of the Rugby Club’s junior players who are students at Thirsk School came up with the idea to give their metal storage container a complete facelift.

With the help of their Art teacher Jenny Fenwick and some of the younger art students they created a rugby themed design which incorporated the Club colours.

They also produced several sets of stencils which were used when transferring the figures onto the container.

‘It is always a pleasure to see how creative our students are, and we are really pleased with the enthusiastic way the students approached this project’ said Jenny.
