On Thursday 1st June, we welcomed Jo Purdey from Scarborough. Her theme was "Mamma Mia", and the familiar music accompanied the arrangements.

She opened with a basket of greenery and large yellow roses, symbolising Greek lemons.

This was followed by "Cocktail Bar on the Beach". A large Martini glass held frothy asparagus fern around pink Lily heads, peachy Gerbera and deep purple Sweet William.

A sculptured head represented a man chased in the film by Julie Walters.

A framework of twisted hazel, (the 'crazy' woman) was the base to hold a hand-tied bunch of pink Stock, Alstromeria and rich pink Peonies.

Next, the wedding day was depicted by a glamorous mirror with a large but delicate arrangement in front.

Soft asparagus fern formed the base for pale pink rose 'Mondial', pink Sweet William, lilac Statice, Perillea and Veronic................
