Thirsk Rotary Junior Endeavour Awards ...

Started in 1987, Thirsk Rotary Club decided to present an award to each of the primary schools that feed into Thirsk High School to be made to a Year 6 pupil just before they left for the ‘Big School’.

The Junior Endeavour award is presented, as part of The Leavers Assembly to the pupil who this year in the eyes of the school staff has made the greatest contribution to the life and wellbeing of the school and its pupils.

Not meant to be an award for academic achievement or sporting prowess, but a recognition of thoughtfulness, caring, kindness and perhaps stoicism in the face of adversity................
