Another White Rose book event...

Last Saturday White Rose bookshop, in Thirsk, held another successful meet the public event with local author, ex primary schoolteacher Jane Clack, who talked with excited children and parents about her books.

Jane brought a range of her highly readable books for children and discussed the stories and illustrations, created by local artist Lucy Spence, with a number of children visiting the book shop.

Jane is currently nominated for The Book Dragon Literary Award 2023 for her recent book “The Grumpy Giant”, which is voted on by children and parents.

Jane also has two new books coming out next year, fiction and nonfiction to look out for which will delight children of all ages...............
