The Future of Football...

Ashlam Remmer (from Thirsk) first kicked a ball when she was aged four, and since then she has eat, slept and dreamed football.

Supported by her doting father, part time market trader, full time carer, mentor, coach and taxi driver, she has, at aged nine, played her way to stardom in the local junior leagues.

A pupil at the Keeble Junior Academy, she is within sight of the 4g football pitch that is her spiritual home.

She has made her way up through the age ranges, with her skill and agility pushing her up into teams above her age.

She has been noticed by talent scouts as a long term prospect for the women's teams at Sunderland and Middlesbrough, More taxi duty for Dad.
