Hospice refurbishment...

A welcome sight: work is under way to refurbish the former Lambert Memorial Hospital and turn it into a well-equipped and welcoming hospice. The new unit will be called Herriot Hospice at the Lambert, with a vison that it will be a warm, welcoming, inclusive and accessible place.

Visitors will be welcome at any time of day or night, including pets. Patients will be able to bring their own photos and paintings to make their room more homely...........
