Thirsk Royal British Legion Tea Party...

Amid a heavy downpour last weekend, the weather did not spoil the afternoon high tea celebrations for the ladies and guests of Thirsk Royal British Legion, in Kirkgate, Thirsk, last Saturday.

The Ladies Committee decided to celebrate the Mother’s Day weekend with a well attended high tea party for friends and members of the Club.

It was nice to see the mix of ages present, who enjoyed a variety of delicious tea time snacks and delicacies and drinks, amid a pleasant atmosphere in the Club rooms, where they could enjoy good company, lots of congenial conversations and a charmingly happy occasion...........
