Thirsk U11 Blues vs Prissick ...

9th March, 2024.

The Blues headed to Redcar to play Prissick for an early start this weekend. The game started with Prissick having the best of the early chances albeit nothing to really threaten the Thirsk keeper.

As the game grew on the play began to level out and the Blues began to create more chances of their own.

Prissick however had a well drilled defence and a keeper that was in good form.

Towards the end of the first half, Prissick took one of their chances with a quick ball over the top of the Thirsk defence and opened the scoring.

The second half started and the Blues sprung into action by getting several dangerous balls played in to the box from the wings as well as some play through the middle.

Still however the Prissick goalkeeper proved himself level to the shots coming his way.

The exception however was a beautifully struck ball by the Falcons centre mid from just outside the area that clattered against the bar, it rebounded just in front of an eager Thirsk player in the penalty area but the keeper reacted quick enough to close him down and put him under pressure and the ball looped over the bar.
