A very busy weekend, with weather kind apart from wind at times, saw members at several venues.

Perhaps the most challenging was the Hardmoors 55 race, 55 miles from Guisborough to Helmsley, mostly along the Cleveland Way, involving 2000 metres (6,561ft) of climb and with a time limit of 16 hours.

The wind was difficult over the first 25 miles, but once again, the intrepid and ever cheerful Paul Peacock was first club finisher, 16th overall in a time of 9 h 37 m.

The rest of the team were first timers over the distance, with Richard Grant, Joe Poole, Kim Wilkinson and Adam Harper-Walker all taking between 11 and 12 hours.

Bronwyn Mayo took 12.20 and Anna Whitham 12.27, all well within the time limit.
