Thirsk Falcons U12 Blues vs U12 Riverside City...

The Blues rounded up their games on the road with their last away game of the season today and they did so in style.

In the first half Thirsk were in possession and moving the ball from side to side and creating opportunities but Riverside were able to keep clear cut chances to a minimum despite Thirsk setting up camp near their penalty area.

As the first half drew to a close the ball was worked well onto the left wing and played into the box to Jake who turned and shot to take the lead.

Moments later with the half time whistle about to blow, a freekick just inside our own half was taken by Jeremy and after a small team meeting amongst the defenders it was agreed he would shoot - skip forward 5 seconds and the ball was in the back of the net after Camden put the goalkeeper under pressure who fumbled it into the back of the net.
