5 members congregated for the Dick Hudsons Fell Race last week, more a tough trail race than a fell race, according to Josh Cooper.
It was an out and back course, 7 miles with 1,100 feet of climb where you could choose your own course, up and over the moor, with Dick Hodson's pub as the midway point.
In a strong field, Josh Cooper came 60th out of 146 in 57.05, overtaking a few runners on the last technical descent. Marc Davies was 101st, David Tervit 116th in 68.30, Hilary Coventry 130th. and 2nd V50, in74.40 and Helen Ashworth 136th, and 3rd V50, in 80.29......
