It has been a historic week for the local running community, with standout performances ranging from brutal 100-mile ultra-marathons and arduous fell races to emotional personal bests on the Saturday morning circuit.
Ultra-Endurance and Marathon Success
In a display of pure "Heat and Heart," the Thames Path 100 saw runners battle baking 25°C temperatures.
Tom Levi triumphed over the conditions, finishing the 100-mile journey from Richmond to Oxford in 26 hours, 1 minute, and 45 seconds.
Despite debilitating blisters, Levi secured his belt buckle alongside his children. The weekend also saw Jan Payne make history as the first FV70 finisher of a Centurion 100-miler.
