Sowerby Flower Club Report...

In November we welcomed Alex Gracey from Grassington to our meeting. Her theme was "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas".

The arrangements featured contrasting styles and colours, and throughout the demonstration, she gave detailed information about their construction.

She emphasized recycling and improvising, to make containers. These included cylinders made from cunningly-disguised Pringles crisps tubes and coffee cans and a white polystyrene triangle, covered to give a snowy effect.

In between arrangements she carried out an entertaining Christmas quiz.
