Twisted Automotive gets revved up for Reggae Warriors...

Thirsk-based Defender specialist, Twisted Automotive, has announced it’s sponsoring Jamaica in their first Rugby League World Cup.

Nicknamed the ‘Reggae Warriors’, Jamaica are the first Caribbean nation to qualify for a Rugby League World Cup. It’s only the second time a Jamaican team has featured at a World Cup in any sport.

Commenting on the deal, which sees the Twisted logo on the players' shirts, Charles Fawcett, founder of Twisted Automotive, said, “Jamaica are seen as underdogs in the tournament in a group with New Zealand, Ireland and Lebanon. Who doesn’t love to cheer for the underdog?”

The Jamaica campaign is a true grassroots story. The team don’t have a stadium in Jamaica. They don’t even have a training ground, so they make do with public land for training sessions.........
