Mollie and Steve Richmond from Hambleton Grange care home in Thirsk recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends.

83-year-old Mollie and 85-year-old Steve first laid eyes on each other when Mollie was 17 and Steve was 19 in Helperby, and it was love at first sight.

One year later, in 1958, Mollie and Steve got married in Braferton Church.
