Travelling away from home, the Clarets found themselves playing on a grass pitch for only the 3rd time in just over a year.

With a nice playing surface, both teams were able to pass the ball around well despite some horrendous conditions leading up to the match.

The Clarets we are able to assert some early dominance on the game using the space well in wide areas with the wingers being found well by the centre back.

Chances were few and far between early on but as Bedale fought their way back into the game, they were able to convert a couple of chances with some well worked strikes.

Both teams fought hard with the Clarets being able to convert a chance of their own just before half time...
