Thirsk's entirely volunteer-run Ritz Cinema continues the occasional Sunday night special theme with two films that have been filmed locally.
The first to be screened this Sunday is Starve Acre a film adaptation of Andrew Michael Hurley’s popular novel of 2019 that was described by the Irish Times as 'An impeccable work of folk horror'.
