The busy summer Dave Parry fell race season drew to a close as the evenings started to draw in, where it began, at Fryup, with the tough Fryup Frazzler.
Although it was shorter than the earlier one, it was far from easy, just under 6 miles, with 1,400 feet of ascent, conditions were ideal for running and almost 80 runners took part.
First club member was in form Esther Harrison, 30th, and 3rd Open lady, in 55.53, with Gary Wilkinson - another in great form - 32nd in 58.43.
Trudy Morrice rounded off her successful season with her latest F50 win, 38th in 62.06, with Kim Wilkinson 44th in 63.43, Marc Davies 50th in 64.59, Lorraine Hiles 53rd, and 2nd F55, in 65.39, Kirsty Naylor 3rd F40 in 72.12, just ahead of Rosamund Kruger, 72.13.
Sara Armitage, getting a taste of fell racing, took 85.23 and the ladies won 1st and 3rd team prizes again...
